We're just too far away, I'm afraid, Manchester. Also some pretty short notice.
I've got quite an active workshop up here who're always up for a gig, tho. Let
us know if you do anything up north. Or down there with more than a week to
prepare.

I think it would be great to try to get some Pd development funded by
kickstarter or something like that. From what I've seen, people
usually advertise projects that they themselves plan on doing, but I
suppose you could raise funds to pay someone else to do the work.

Here's the patch. It's a bit messy but you can probably morph it into
what you want.

Hi August,
thanks for your quick reply and sorry for my slow one ;-) The short
answer is that cleaning up the headers of the soundfiles by
re-encoding with sndfile-convert did the trick. Celine, the student I
am working with, promised to write you a bit later with more details.

You basically need to send a header and the control values as a list of

has the protocol.
If I find the patch I'll post it.

I would like to use pd to control some lights via a wii device. I am on
linux 10.04.
I have the wii up and running in pd, I have compiled dmx512 from the iem
repository, and have the objects dmxin and dmx out in my pd/extra
directory. Since these objects depend upon dmx4linux I tried to compile

Because [pix_record] records pix_ domain.
First, you have to pass the rendering in pix_ domain then capture it
with [pix_record].
For that, the use of [pix_snap] could help.
Send the message [codeclist( to [pix_record] to see which codec you can
use. Then send [codec nameofthecodec( to [pix_record]
Hi,
I don't know but this could be a silly questions...
Why in my patch the video is recorded unprocessed (not in a circle) ?
Or even: Was is the best approach to record gem output to a Quicktime
movie?
Thanks for help,

Hi, you might be interested in C::NTR::L http://cntrl.sourceforge.net.
It's a Pd-based application which recognizes pitch out of an electric bass
guitar, guitar, or piano (only two octaves) and trigger audiovisual fx
