[PD] pd not starting on fresh wheezy install -workaround?

Does anyone know a workaround to have pd working on wheezy? I have this problem: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=478070&aid=3434378&group_id=55736 This happens with packaged version, extended-0.43.1 nightly build for wheezy and compiled vanilla source. Anyone know a workarou
