If you are tinkering with audio drivers, it would be great if you could figure out how to make Pd "just work" by default with the standard pulseaudio install that comes with Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, etc. etc. Something about Pd's ALSA support conflicts with pulseaudio's ALSA emulation. IIRC
