hi list,
does anyone no if I can close the PD window (console) with a message within
my patch in PD-extended-0.43. I only want to see the patch (parent) window
at startup.

it's a gui-plugin.
gui-plugin are only supported since 0.43.

You could always use Hans' sys_gui object and do essentially everything the
plug-in does with a few lines of code. See l2ork_toggle_menu/scrollbars/etc.
