Yes, i did check the box. However, i noticed that it didn't make any changes
to
the .pdsettings file as far as i can tell.

Have you clicked on 'Save all settings' in that box? That way Pd should
'remember' your audio set

also tried modding the .pdsettings where i changed the flags: -outchannels 8

also edited jacks patchbay to have 8 inputs fro
