I trying to compile pd-extended on my Linux (mostly Gentoo).
I wnat ot to doit from source.
In the instruction I found this sentence:
If you don't already have the Pd sources, then read GettingPdSource. Once you
have all of the sources and the patches are applied, you can start compiling.
That line should be removed, the patches are now included in the pd-
extended branch in SVN.

Nope, go for it. It won't do quite what you expect. You probably need
to set DESTDIR or something. Like:
make DESTDIR= prefix=/usr/local install
(double-check that, its from the top of my head)

Please reply on-list (i.e. Reply All). You need to have the Gem
sources. Getting the sources with rsync is the easiest.
