thinking about:
* decent zoom capability
* customizable fonts
* balloon tips (although I hate balloons and used a Firefox-style notification

I made a bug report about this back in February:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2583821&group_id=55736&atid=478070
But I didn't address that [exp~] is missing a right inlet (or that
the help file is wrong). So I just added that as a comment for this
bug.

Hello,
I'd like to know if it's possible/feasible to make the following
change to the way data structures are saved when you write them to a
file:
Don't expand $0, $1, etc. in the struct name.
So $0-struct gets saved as \$0-struct
This is currently the way $0 is handled when you name a su

1. Is "an instance of a data structure" synonymous with "scalar"?
2. append-help.pd says the first creation argument of [append] specifies the

it says:

Currently, is there any way to get the selector of a message?
The [symbol]/[route] method mentioned earlier in this thread doesn't work
for [list( because [route] will convert it to a bang.
In the message
[list(
the selector is "list," right?

few others still open as well.

Hello,
Can [sigmund~] do everything [fiddle~] can do (or do it better)?
BTW: I'm finding that to use [sigmund~] with tables, the "-t flag" is
unnecessary-- just remove it in the example in the subpatch and you
get the same results. Not sure if that's a bug or not, but it makes me
wonder:

Do you have "graph on parent" enabled for the abstractions? If so
see bug id# 2621932.

Currently, the help patches in the reference folder have two ways of
referring to the "all_about_x" patches:
1) comments in the form of "docs/reference/all_about_x
2) pddplink
The first option requires the user to open the patch manually, which is
klunky because the last patch opened is probabl

Thanks, that fixed it.
But I just found a crazy bug:
1) Open one of the help patches (e.g., [float] )
2) Create a link to another help patch: [pddplink send-help.pd]
3) Totally works!
4) Now create [receive pd] or [r pd], then click on the pddplink again.
5) Totally doesn't work, and errors to the

Hi Hans,
There's some scrollbar flickering happening on winxp (see attached
patch).

When I open help-intro.pd and try to close it, it either hangs or takes
forever to close (winxp). Anyone else experience this? My computer isn't
real fast, so if you have a mean machine try select all -> copy and paste and
see if you can reproduce this. I've never had this problem until now..
The current help patch for [bonk~] says the output from the right outlet
is the instrument number and a velocity. But there's a third number in the
list. What is it?
Thanks,
Jonathan
