The problem mostly occurs with integrated webcams (likely related to pci-e
webcams in recent Macs, which driver won't provide a suitable QuickTime
interface, since the old library has been deprecated in 10.9 Mavericks...).
Macam is a driver for external USB webcams, and may have its own problems

Macam wasn't mentioned, but although it is not currently maintained, it is also
free and supports several cameras still.

Hi list,
Anyone have experience in decoding line code with Pd? I saw a blurb where
someone did something similar with max but i found no results as far as Pd
is concerned. I am specifically interested in decoding Biphase Mark Code
from audio (recorded or live?) to binary data

i just say that's it's not a mandatory operation for porting Gem to openGL ES
