just realized maybe it's not delread~ or delread4~ but an issue with
delwrite~ :) - perhaps it just doesn't create a delay line as long as it
says it does.
cheers

the missing whitespaces would be invisible to the naked eye,
wonder what is causing the patches not to be loaded?

I love the metaphor. Duplos and legos work together precisely because
of the integer ratio.
I think I do have to make some adjustments to zooming:
offer 150% zoom
fix it so that editing a zoomed patch can't get "between pixels" on the
un-zoomed version (so that save/restore works exactly; patche
Hello,
Is it possible to have a finer-grained zoom?
Forgive the toy metaphors, but at least on my setup (Ubuntu
Studio/basically Xubuntu 15.10, 1920x1080 res), there's only two zoom
levels: the regular Lego size, and the pretty huge Duplo size. Ideally
it'd be useful to have some steps in the m

I'm having crashes again with opening help patches (Win 7 binaries).
Not 100% reliable, but 'works' most of the time:
1) Start Pd
2) make a new canvas
3) right click into emtpy canvas -> help (opening help-intro.pd)
4) close help-intro.pd
5) create empty [clone] object
6) right click on [clone] -
thanks!

the rule is: symbols before floats.
the reason i don't know, but i suspect that it is historic (API
compatibility with ispw/max and ABI compatibility with Pd-0.22)

I have a slightly related question:
I usually use A_GIMME for multiple creation arguments, but I looked at some
code using several A_DEFFLOAT and A_DEFSYMBOL and couldn't get my head around
the order in which these are forwarded to the new method.
Take for example the code for [delay] in x_time

I've just compiled Pd-0.47-0test4 (I guess properly after another thread I
started about a compilation failure where I got guidance from IOhannes) but
I don't get [clone] which Miller mentioned is a new object in this release?
There's no help file either in Pd's Browser -> Pure Data -> 5.reference.

it was unrelated.
there have been two issues with the po/ directory, both of which have
been fixed in Pd-0.47-0test3 afa

why?
just run 'make' from the root directory of Pd.

I'm trying to compile the test version of the new Pd. I'm running the
./autogen.sh script (which says it's not using gettext BTW, don't know if
this is of any importance) and then the ./configure script with
--enable-jack. Then I go to the src/ directory but when I type 'make' it
starts compiling b
