Hi, list.

hello,
how are you doing cpu load measurement?
I find it very hard to do reliable measurement of cpu load nowadays, since
computer have a variable cpu speed depending on load.
For exemple, pd CPU load can be at 75%, with CPU frequency at 800MHz. When
increasing the patch complexities, the CPU

It is a rather large project and relatively new, so I'd prefer not to share
it at this point as it still kind of a work in progress. I will try putting
together some test patches isolating some of the most used objects and see

Yeah, most of your points against externals sounds a bit like "they need to
be maintained and that takes effort", I know... but I don't think that's a
disadvantage of an external. If no one is willing to do it, that's another
problem...

Yes, the whole thing is baffling, but I gather something changed from 0.46
to 0.47 ... I've gt a coupld of benchmark patches I can try to see if I can
see what's going on.

Hello,
I think this discussion is moving to a general debate... or a troll :-(
about external vs. abstraction
Anyway, I'm interested in this not-so-childish debate, even if I might not
have the skills to give some arguments (like on performance), and that I
think it's more a personal matter at the

I agree with Alexander.
Also Ivica has pointed the use of array as a multislider, I attach an example
on that. Very easy and useful.
Also I consider “multislider” a missing object or a bug in “zexy” not in
cyclone. :)

the one in max would be quite a pain to clone, I have to say :P that's why
I first let it open to "some library", you know... just a basic
multislider. And Pd-L
