hello,
you need to enable "source" package repository on your sources.list file.
you can do it easily in the update manager preference or via editing

Thank you for all this work Alexandre. The paper really clearly states your
intentions and documents the ELSE library well. I'm very much looking
forward to playing with all these new objects.

Hi all,
I am trying to run:
sudo apt-get build-dep gem
but I get that it is "Unable to finr a srouce package for gem".
I am sure I've had this work fine in the past. Is it because it is a recent
version of Ubuntu?

thanks, anyway, what I should say is that I'll check it out and make sure
this is sorted and clear when the oficial final release is done. Just
remember this is still an experimental release. In any case, just know that
I'm not considering at all making this a restrictive license.

if you want to make it as open as possible, make it public domain :-D.
but seriously: I guess what you're looking for is either the MIT license or
3-clause BSD license (also used by Pd itself)

well, I just copied that from somewhere else (don't even remember, maybe
cyclone?), but I should be honest here and just ask, cause I have no clue
about licenses, and I really don't care, this should be as free and open as
possible, people should do whatever they want with it. So which is the

Hm... I seem unable to find anything about the SIBSD license. Please
include a copy of the license text or at least provide a link.

I think there might be different versions on my system and with the
different paths where to install such things maybe an older one is loaded.
when Starting up I see three lines related to teh deken loading:

I think of it as being "ELSE" officially, but it made the folder as "else",
cause it seems to be the best or correct way of doing it. I guess I'll just
have the meta as "else-meta.pd" then, thanks

I put a license remark inside "meta", but not that I really know anything
about licenses :)

Ah yes, I didn't realize myself that the question wasn't placed in the
correct way. What I need isn't just to listen to the port, but also to use
json to make the websocket connection with the leapmotion through its api.
That means, Pd would have to run the json code to get the data.
