You could modify the reading part of a phase vocoder (to have several...) and use the pitch shifting and not the stretching. The output would be mono and have all the potential artifacts of the pv, but it can work. I did this once with 64 samples and had decent results, but have no idea where it

[PD] Inexpensive pitchshift

Hi list! I was wondering whether the G09.pitchshift.pd is an inexpensive pitchshifter or if there's a cheaper way of doing it? I would like to use a couple of hundred of these in a patch and was quickly arriving at dropouts even with a very high buffer… Thanks in advance! best Martin __
