[PD] delwrite~ delread4~ name of delay line not settable?

Is the name of the delay line written to and read from in delwrite~ and delread4~ settable by messages? If not, is it intentional or could this feature be added? I want to send from one clone(d) instance to the next via delay lines, so I need to change the names. M.
