Yes, Paul, I had seen those before.
A typical setup that I had seen (and it makes sense): a "steady" frame,
a mic, and a monitor.
In this case, it was just a bare DSLR, no monitors/mics/.
Cotty: yep, that makes sense, and that's what I was guessing.
But it still looked a bit funny to me... "Big

Regarding the Sydney sights you can buy a multi-pass which will get you a very
good discount for multiple attractions. You can buy the pass at any one of the
attractions. You have to visit that one first, then go through the others at
your leisure. So pick which one you want to do first and b

Fantastic Igor. I'll definitely look into many of those places. Our
time is short in SYD, most of the time we will be in NZ, but we'll
make the best of it. Probably stay downtown so we can go see the main
sights easily.

In my opinion, Sydney is a nice and unusual combination of NYC and San

rather, centre! ;-) ) surrounded by beach communities with surfers.
While we were in Sydney (I had a research conference there, so we spend

slowdowns there either. Editing is zippy and painless.
Consumer desktop, 50+ megapixels, no issues.
Re unlimited budget: this Fuji and 2 lenses, or the 645Z and 2
I guess if you have a nearly unlimited budget, but they don't make
desktop computers powerful enough to properly process the files. Apple
in fact seems to be going the other way.

I think it has a bayer array, scuttlebutt had it using a Sony chip, same
as the 645z, and a couple of much more expensive MF backs, when it was
first announced. Maybe Fuji will start ordering special chips if it
takes off, for an upgraded new model.

Thanks Ken and Dan. The lighting is primarily overhead table lights. It's
manageable but requires curve tweaking, dodging of shadow areas and burning in
of highlights. Away from the table the lighting is mainly from colored signage.
