Following recent discussions on this, I just found one advantage of using
the subscription model for both Adobe and Microsoft. I had a frustrating
experience with my desktop (W10 pro, 64-bit, i5 CPU) running very slowly,
like 2 minutes to open any Office 365 program, multiple seconds to respond

Sorry, Rick. I had a fisheye zoom that I made about ten frames with
before the novelty ran out and I got rid of it.

I have an F 17-24 fisheye that I haven't used since I switched to digital.

Well, they may have been using the buddy system, but from the looks of
it, all it would accomplish would be both being swept out to sea.
Also, their tripod look way to light for the camera, but what do I know.

These two are not for me - so certainly would like you to put a couple
of Perpetuas in there
Your photography of the leaves is fine, but these leaves are not
worthy.. too sad - rather ugly leaves

A very nice set of action shots, Paul! (as we frequently witness here on
the list)
Your comment about the way you cropped got me puzzled and intrigued,
so, I was curious what happens in your photos in that regard.

Hey Paul. I figured it would only work in crop mode. Does the image
quality hold up?
Thanks for the rec on the 15-30, too. I'd have to ponder that kind of
outlay.

Thanks, Jos. I don't know that I'm willing to perform surgery. I'll have
to look into the 15mm. It might be an interesting item.

Hi Doug,
I tried the Sigma 8-18mm on my K1.
On FF it gave only APS-C coverage as it was limited by the build on
metal sun-shade.
I carefully cut of the sunshade, this increased the coverage to a square
APS-C coverage at the same optical quality as original APS-C
The coverage increased a bit fur
The 15-30/2.8 is an excellent full frame lens. But it’s big and heavy, as one
would expect given its 2.8 ap.

I have both the k1 and the 12-24. The combo is fine with the k1 in crop mode,
but in full frame mode the lens’s image circle doesn’t come close to filling
the frame.

Hi, kids.
Pondering getting a K-1 (the first one) for my birthday this month and
am wondering how it performs with the 12-24/4 that's made for the crop
bodies. I think Mark Roberts has the combo, but am not sure. Do any of
you folks also have it?
I am open to purchasing a full-frame wide, of
Excellent work, as usual, Paul. You certainly have developed a knack for
taking great action shots at sports events.
I am going to try for a few football shots this weekend, at the Dartmouth -
Princeton football game, but iI doubt I will have such a good vantage
point, or such a nimble touch.
