K-70 aperture block repair?

The aperture block of my wife’s K-70 has seized up. An official Pentax repair costs a chunk; but I have seen messages elsewhere about people getting them repaired unofficially for $30 to $60. Does anyone have experience with an “unofficial” repair person, either positive or negative? Rick --
