I was playing around with the shots I took yesterday of the newly
arrived Monarch pupae from Monarch Watch, and came up with what seemed to
me like an interesting abstract image of the caterpillars and the media in
which they were shipped:

Yesterday I received a shipment from Monarch Watch consisting of four small
cups each containing several first instar Monarch larvae plus some
temporary food.
This is my first group of Monarchs to be raised and released this season.
