15 years ago the exchange the office was on had a fire and went out of service.
The majority cell phone provider was overloaded and useless, no connectvity.

If you get a real blaze, a grocery store will make a huge fire.
I remember a store some 6-8 blocks away that caught fire in my childhood.
It was a huge blaze, fully involving the store, and making quite a spectacle.
(The roof burns first, spreading it all over.)
