The lower mirror bumper is not the only cause of sticky mirror, there are some
other elastic rests in the mirror box that are likely deteriorating (turning to
goo) and interfering with the mirror action.

Does anyone know whether shooting in intensely coloured light (red @ oarnge)
will result in inacurate readings with an LX? A roll I shot in such
circumstances was mostly under

Sadly, in the UK you can no longer shoot this kind of thing. Taking photographs
with children in them at all is risky. At a swimming pool the attendant will
insist that you get the permission of every parent before allowing you to
shoot, you start to feel such a pervert that it's just not worth

There is a soft focus lens for the 67 that could be used with a Pentax 67 to K
adapter. I believe it is 120mm and something like f3.5

Why is it seemingly so difficult to produce a camera with a full frame (35mm)
sensor, if Pentax and many others have/will have MF digitals surely one of
these sensors could be used, even if it has to be masked?

eckon it's quite likely they don't build the screens and
viewfinders that hold them any where near as accurately, assuming folk will be
using autofocus and re-touching/cropping in Photoshop.
