Well, I just wanted to start off by saying that I'm back!
I used to always read the PDML to get information, help, etc. with my
technique and equipment... but sorta lost touch with photography as
a whole. I purchased a point-and-shoot for ease of traveling and it

I find the 6 point autofocus on the MZ-S annoying at times... but very
useful at others. I sometimes like carrying my camera over my shoulder and
just let the camera autofocus and shoot, so I can get some candid street
shots... Granted they always don't come out perfect or the camera decides

I had bought an FA 24mm 2.0 lens from him it was in excellent condition!
He even wrote a note to be extra careful when mounting/unmounting the lens
hood.
Great seller...
So I'm sure your Tak is in great condition also...

I think if you click on the eyedropper in photoshop and then click on the
portion of the drawing you want to match it will give you the RGB value.
Then enter in the RGB value in this website and it will convert it to HEX.
Have fun!

I'm just curious... does Nikon, Kodak, and Canon really produce their own
DSLRs??? In this day and age of manufacturing, it always seems that people
are outsourcing the manufacturing to a supplier(s) for
experience/quality/cost reasons... so couldn't it be possible that there is
some company out

Hey everyone,
A friend of mine (actually my girlfriend's friend) just came back from
California and paid us a visit. His uncle gave him a lot of his photographic

Painted it matt black? Won't it make it hard to read the f-stops since they
are stamped in black also?

Sorry guys... that guy was me. :(
I wasn't actually going to take it apart but was more curious to see
whether it was possible and how someone would go about doing this.
There is actually what appears to be a small piece of hair on the inside of

Has anyone every sent their lenses into Pentax to be disassembled and cleaned?
If so, is it a fixed price they charge for this procedure or does it vary from
lens to lens. Does anyone know how much it costs?

I remember watching that movie when I was in 5th grade... my parents would
actually watch it. Anyways... if I remember correctly, doesn't one of the

the spot surgery...
Every time I watch this film I came away with an

Hello,
I was recently on a road trip with my MZ-S taking pictures... when I was
swapping out one of my lenses on the body, I noticed there was some dust of
the focusing screen. I went to gently blow on the viewfinder to see if I
could dislodge the dust... but instead, the opposite happened.
I just got into BW photography... well, I just got into photography
recently. I've been shooting Tri-X and developing with Tri-X developer...
which seems pretty easy to do. The results were pretty good considering I
haven't developed film since highschool (10 years). I'm hoping that since I

Requests for film must be received by January 31, 2002
Maybe I'll have to contact someone there.

But my dilemma is that the offer is only good on scanners purchased between

How about that... now there are two pdml'ers who started developing their
own film after many years!!!
It's sorta exciting for the first time after a long time, isn't it?

The hotshoe cover and eyepiece blind can also fit in the two little pouches
that come with the neck strap. I always place them in there because I am
very forgetful and am always misplacing small objects.
