Ah... Thanks, so there at least two options.. Use a TTL-only capable flash (on camera, works fine), or use a F/FA lense with the aperture ring turned off). Fortunately, a 28 mm lens is equivalent to a 42 mm lens on the *istDS, so my smallest F/FA lens will be suitable for studio work - which will
