Absolutely, my P&S has printed around the lens 6.0-22.5mm, it means

That's easy to solve since you're using gmail. Go to gmail settings,
labs and enable the app "Flickr previews in mail" the Flickr pics will
then show inline at the bottom of the message.

You need to either put an IR pass in front of the sensor, replacing
the IR stop filter or put an IR pass filter on the lens. The later
gives more flexibility as you change change filters easily but negates
the value of the SLR finder.
