Hi there...
Here I am again, quite sad this time...
I don't know why, but I *had* to look my *new* ME
Super to the wrong person. Of course, she thought the
camera is *empty* so she stick a finger inside. Now
there is a huge fingerprint, right on the mirror :sad
grin:
Can it be cleaned? It seems it
Hi,
I've told you few days ago about a ME Super with a
locked mirror (and thanks for your answers!). Well...
now it's mine!
Of course, it doesn't work... so I can't use it right
now. The mirror unlocked (maybe because I've put new
batteries? :) ), however the foam... wait a minute...
in fact, ther
Hi!
I saw today, in a sh camera store, this beautifull ME
Super... unfortunatelly it has a "little" problem:
after the shutter fires, the mirror won't come down
(not even after a *very* gentle touch). Also the
mirror foam looks quite bad, I think it should be
changed. Otherwise, the camera seems t
Ok, this is a zoom. In fact, is a cheap kit zoom. I
won't buy it, you won't buy it... so we may as well
ignore it's existance.
But... it has the quick-shift focus system - which
means, imho, that every Pentax lens from now on will
also have this important (at least for me) feature.
Good news, indee
Come on, people!
The *ist-DS is the digital version of the MZ-6! But,
unlike the MZ-6, it has a good viewfinder... (that's
my main compliant regarding MZ-6)
Now I hate Pentax; they really wants to take my money
:(
In fact, I don't think I'll buy the *ist-DS (I don't
want to switch to digital yet).
They could use the AE-L button instead...

Hi, there.
So, I'm looking for a nice, manual camera (an upgrade
from my MZ-6). And... what I saw? A ME, waiting for
me! :-)
I just can't decide if it's the best camera I could
buy. And I'm asking your help on this matter...
What is your impression about this camera? Do you
think I should buy thi
That's exactly the reason I'd like to upgrade my MZ-6
with a nice, heavy-metal style camera.
OTOH, the viewfinder is imho it's only (major) fault.
Well, it's a cheap camera...

Yes, that seems the best solution imho.
In fact, you don't really need that 'h' letter -
because the ISO starts from 200, so you can have
2,4,8,16 and 32. But the 'h' can tell you if you're
looking at the remaining picture indicator or at the
ISO setting.

Hmmm... maybe you can just reinstall the OS?
Boot from a win98 CD and choose to install in the same
location - don't format the drive. Make that drive the
primary master, to be sure it will be the C: drive on
your system (you'll be able to use your old win95
drive as D:, but of course you can't boo
I think we also agree that dropping M42 mount was the
right choice for Pentax. The bayonet mount is much
easier (faster) to use, imo. And I'm not sure you can
make M42 AF lenses&bodies...

Hi, there!
Yup, I'm back in Dublin - I'll be here for 12 days.
The first time I was very busy, so now I'll try to
see&shoot more (I'd like to thank Gianfranco, Lasse
and Rob for their advices!).
Nice town, nice people - however, I hate their food.
Too sweet, too much mayonnaise... I've also tried
