This is likely a rookie question, but...I'm looking to get a set of extension tubes
for my recently purchased K1000, but am somewhat unsure what to get because some of
the lenses I also bought are SMC Takumar screw mounts...and I also have the k mount
SMC-A 50mm f/2 lens that came with the camera.

If I got a set of screw mount auto extension tubes, would that work with the K1000 and
the screw mount Takumars if I just put the K Mount Adaptor on the part of the tubes
that connect to the camera?  Inversely, it seems that I would not be able to use the
screw mount auto ext. tubes with the K mount lens and K mount body, unless I used two
adaptors, which seems a bit much.

I'd like to get a set of K mount ext tubes, but they seem to be a bit harder than the
screw mounts to find at the moment (at least on ebay).  If I did, I assume I could use
my screw mount Takumar's with them if I put the K mount adaptor on the lens and
connected that to the extension tube - right?

Lastly, what about using my screw mount Takumar's with a reverser ring?  If the ring
was a screw mount, would I be able to use the K mount adaptor on it?  And vice versa -
if the reverser fitted the K mount, could I use the K mount adaptor on the opposite
end to connect the screw mount adaptors?

Thanks in advance for your help, and I hope that all makes some sense!
