I don't think so but would a K7 sync on 2nd curtain when used with
X-sync cord (or hotshoe but not with a Pentax flash)?
Or should I trick the Studio flash with pentax flash to fire them ?
I can't test just yet and I'm curious ...

Generally, you take a lot of shorter exposures, and stack them together. The
multiple frames cancel out the sensor noise.
The shorter exposures don't let light pollution build up, like a longer
exposure will.

Agreed on marketing PoV. But how are those optically? I read quite
soft wide open but didn't see any serious test (no DPR lens tests are

The DA35 seems to be VERY close to FA35 at least looking at the
optical blueprint.
It may be 2.4
I like that, personally.
Of importance IMO, new flashes begin 2011 allowing 1/250 sync speed,
18 AF points, speed optimized AF-C, 8fps, 1080p, 200-12800iso,
extended 50-25600iso.

Yep, Paul that would be sweet.
If it is the same grip, I'll get one.
If price can go down a bit (even in 6 months and can sell my body at
good price) I will but I don't really need it.
I can use my Photo courses as pretext. Maybe my wife will believe that one xD

A pity, I think I'd happily get at least body + one lens around those prices.

I understand why it acts like that but I only wants to have that

Is there any way to do this?

Given the slow speed when the

It'd better. There's been talks of 30/2.1 as well.

Mmm what about newer Sigma 18-200 and 18-250 with IS built-in?
Those are maybe better ?
Are they available with in lens IS for Pentax or Sony mounts?

of
repairing a 32 months old out of warranty Pentax might not be a bad
trade if the Spamron was optically comparable. I'd happily give up 50
mm for that and crop a little more. I have to buy something seriously
longer at some point anyway.

Stan, I'm sorry to hear that.
I myself got two of my lovely rats passing away (one 6 months ago, the
other one 4 weeks ago).
I know how you feel :(
I looked at your pic you listed and it was definitely a beautiful cat.

You may have added it yourself.
I did with a profile for K7+DA*50-135 I found on the web.
I just checked my LR3.2 install, no Pentax lenses profiles but FA/DFA 645.
