Hi all, I just returned from my trip to Texas, and Big Bend NP, well sort off because I never went into the park itself because of the heavy rains.
Anyway, I did manage to take some nice shots with the 67II arround Austin and in some ghost towns in the area just west of Big Bend. I did take most of these with either the 45mm or the 200mm. I had nothing left in between because on the 1st day of the trip my 100mm macro broke down. On taking the 5th shot of the day I noticed the viewfinder stayed quite dark. Further inspection showed that the aperture did not open up ... I guess the little spring inside that is supposed to do that is either broken or loose. The lens will be taken to Pentax next week. Should be under guarantee because the lens was just 4 months old, with less than 30 shots taken with it ...
