Since Pentax (and most other manufacturers) want to ensure the best image, sometimes
they'll say certain lens and accessory combinations are "not recommended", as the
results won't be up to their standards, although the pieces may fit together. For
instance, they won't recommend stacking close

I was just looking over some of the latest changes to the Pentax site and noticed that
they had a page up just for the rear converters and I'm coming away with a big "huh?"
factor. I guess that I'm a bit stumped about "why" and "why not" and that probably
comes from me doing 35mm for so long,
