A co-worker of my wife has asked if I'd be prepared to get some photographs of her husband - a pole vaulter - in action. It looks to me as though either the 50-135 or 80-200 would be a reasonable lens to use, assuming I can get close enough to the pit, and a shutter speed of 1/1000 or faster shou
