Today, I found a mint copy of 'Asahi Pentax Photography' 1964 Asahi Pentax International Photo Contest.
Does this contest still exist? The contents are inspiring, and many photos are recognisable from subsequent photographic books from over the years. e.g. 'Girl and Guitar' Pelle Holmstraom; 'A Women Diver' K. Yoshida. There are topical photos of events from 63, such as the Beatles fans in Holland. I was in Liverpool in 1963-64, on the 1st year of my electrical apprenticeship. So rember a lot of the events.
