Look for a program on the Internet called shellexe.exe. It's shareware but
I can't remember where I
got it from. It was easier to download than to write one myself. It comes
with a sample autorun.inf
file.

Is the program slideshow.exe in a directory that's included in your
PATH?

you have to turn on auto run in the cd player
properties, if not it won't do it

windows explorer on the cd.
