Hello all, I'm in the market for a 70-210 range zoom lens. I know that the FA 80-200/2.8 is the last word in quality as far as Pentax glass is concerned, but to see me through until the happy day when I can scrape together the money to buy it I have my eye on an A 70-210/4 (SMC version).
How does this lens compare to the other Pentax zooms in this range? I've heard that the F 70-210/4-5.6 is a pretty decent lens, is it better than the A 70-210? Optical quality is the prime consideration although I could compromise this slightly in favour of substantially better build quality. Many thanks, DAM. -- Donald A Morrison
