though I saw them in the new B&H Catalog, but I just checked and they are

If you really want to keep to a budget [and have a scsi
connection], also consider the nikon ls-1000 negative
scanner. it was the pre- ls-2000 model. they are
pretty cheap on ebay now.
i've had one for almost 2 years. it's 2700 dpi. it's
