Contax filters?

Can anyone speak to the optical quality of Contax filters? I would think the their T* coating would match Pentax's SMC in glare control. I'm shopping for a 67mm multicoated UV filter, and at $32 (BH), Contax is attractively priced; Pentax is $55, B+W $45, and Heliopan (from elesewhere) $47

I've not used Contax filters, Paul, but I have compared results with a Contax T*85/1.4 and the Pentax A*85/1.4, and the results were very similar. I'd say that the Contax filter would be a good choice based on price and the glass. However, I'm unsure as to how the filters would compare

Hi, I use Contax filters on all my Carl Zeiss lenses. They're very good, and very well made. Apparently they're made by Hoya, but they are very different, and much better, than Hoya's own-brand products. I'd rate them better than B+W, but that's a subjective rating. There is no noticeable
