It certainly feels empowering to have bigger and faster cards, like I
did from 4 GB, then to 8, 16 & now 32 GB. I have not ventured into a
64 GB card yet for (4) reasons:-
a) Cost
b) Already have lots of 4 to 16 GB cards biting dust - and all are San

IIRC, it did not have to do with the length of burst shooting. I don't
shoot bursts at all, yet at some random moment my K-5 would fail to
write proper image file to the card. And it was purely firmware problem.

Thanks Boris, I'll keep an eye on it. I am on the latest firmware for
my K-5 II. I fired off 22 RAW+ images in continuous drive mode before
it had to pause to write to the card.
