No focusing screen in the way and a full exit pupil (which is round,
not rectangular).

Sounds like fun. How is it different than putting the lens on a camera to use
as a telescope? More magnification?

Turns screw mount Pentax lens into a telescope.
Could also be used on current Pentax bayonet mount lens with screw thread
adaptor.
Bought from Cambron, I used it a few times with a 300mm screw mount lens
which effectively became a 30 power
