Looking through the pages at KMP and the Pentax download site, it seems
possible that the Off camera adaptor F (not the Hot shoe adaptor F) may
be what you need. It is not clear from the photgraph if it has the

Many folks feel that they are ungainly, unsightly, and would stifle
their artistic creativity, if they ever used a Stroboframe. The
Stroboframe has been the mainstay of PJs and wedding/event photographers
for a long time. Also, I've mentioned using them quite a few times in
the past. I hate to

You said that you didn't want to consider the larger brackets. That
is the kind I use - to get the flash high and centered. Stroboframe

Can't believe there is no matter for brackets, though the lack of
responses in the list just shows it's so.
Can't you use the HSG with one of the 5-series hotshoe whatsits and a
5-P cable?

Before posting (or buying for that matter!) I downloaded the HSG
manual from Pentax USA and it says that Dedicated/TTL flash is not
possible with the 240FT or the 400FTZ. As
-flash would work with any body and any flash
(automatic: flash has to have this ability).

Hi,
I noticed that the 400FTZ only works in manual mode on the hot shoe
grip, so I guess that the same is true for the 500FTZ. Is there a grip
for the 500FTZ, with a bracket to attach it to the (MZ) camera? The
