CompUSA/Tiger Direct store in Raleigh has it in this weeks sales flyer
and had one in the display case. $649 w/18-55 kit lens. [assuming I've
managed to remember the price correctly between there and home]
I didn't ask to play with it, since I couldn't afford to buy it.
My biggest complaint about Pentax is they seem to have abandoned their
old dealer network, and you can't actually get your hands on one to try
it out.
12.2MP isn't a big enough step above 10.2 for me to buy the K-x,
ignoring the K-x is a "beginner" camera & basically meant for
auto-picture. I like the controls on the K10D, and hope to be able to
afford a K20D within the next 6 months.
I'd like to have the K-7, but it's just not in the picture.
