Lately, I really like the Blackstar line of combo amps. I bought a HT-1R
as a travel & practice amp. It's plenty loud even at 1 Watt.
I think both companies (Orange & Blackstar) were founded by former
Marshall techs.
Thing is, I don't think either of them offers the kind of country

Thank you, Chris!
I'm hoping the 35-watt Orange will do the trick. I was really impressed
with the 20-watt version of it when I played through it at the guitar
shop. Right now, I'm playing through a Behringer -- which is OK, but not
great.

Thank you, Frank!
She may sound that lovely in better hands than mine. I'm truly unworthy
of her, but I'm working on it.
At the moment, I sound awful. I wasn't prepared for how thin the neck
would be, so it's going to take some practice. Luckily, she's the kind

She's a beauty!
Beautiful blond finish, lovely patina and I especially like that pearl
pick-guard.
I bet she sounds as lovely as she looks.
Congrats!

At first, I was only really interested in a standard-configuration Tele

But, I came across this guitar at an *absolute steal* ($530 with

That's a beaut, Walt, and one of my fave instruments 'cause it's
favoured by both surf and jazz players. And accident or no, nice job
on lighting the shots!

Ha! Thanks, Marco.
I don't think I could afford to keep strings on that!

She's more beautiful than I ever expected based on the photos I'd seen

As for the lighting, I bounced my shoe-mounted flash off the ceiling and
it just happened to come out pretty well.
