Hello Everybody,

I recently acquired two old spot meters on Ebay that, despite being in very
good cosmetic shape, complete with respective caps and cases, were described
as "not working" and "for parts only. " Paid U$53.00, including shipping,
for both of them.
When they arrived I saw the only thing wrong was the lack of
batteries...They work much better now with fresh batteries...;-)
The first One was a Soligor Spot Sensor that works perfectly and matches the
readings of a similar meter from another List member.
The second is a Honeywell Pentax 1º/21º Spot Meter --- it used a 9V battery
for the lower range and a 1.3V for the higher one. All the information I
have about it I took from Keppler's book and a Pentax General Sales Manual
from 1972.
The only thing wrong with it is that the needle is not correctly adjusted to
it's "zero" position. I can't find any information about the way I'm
supposed to adjust it. Am I supposed remove the batteries and press the
"Low" button before adjusting the screw or not? Could someone that has the
manual or know how to do it help me?
Regards,
               Eduardo.
