Hi Tom, Mine had the original tripod mount installed. You might try rigging one up were you a bit mechanically inclined, or maybe buying a cheap long telephoto off ebay (I had a couple and sold them for around 40$.) and rob the tripod mount. I suppose a very careful use of the camera's tripod mo
