Hi All,

I tried two new papers this weekend.
One is Harman Matt FB Mp (Fibre Matte), and the other one is
Premier Velvet BW.
I am underwhelmed by the former one, while the latter one looks really good.
I had a problem with Harman Matt FB Mp. The ink seems to chip off from
its surface relatively easily (while I was mounting the photo into a
frame, under glass).

I haven't done' much after printing with Premier Velvet BW, but
it looks much more impressive, all together... The texture seems
to be very good for the photo. (very contrast, almost binary
silhouettes of two dancers, similar to what I posted recently
(Yin and Yang of Tango).

Now, I have a question for people who have experience with such matte
papers: Do you do anything special with the surface of the photographs
to protect them? (E.g. do you use Premier's print shield spray:
http://premierart.info/pc_printshield.php or any other lacquers?)

Igor
