Dave,
I did something similar and really had fun. You get to know what happens
after you pull the roll out of your camera and before you receive the
prints and, believe me, it's magic! I could just touch the edges of it
and understand how to produce something original and exactly (more or
less..
Absolutely take the course!
Even with a somewhat mediochre instructor, what you'll learn will be
invaluable for doing your own darkroom work...not to mention the good
time you'll have!
