If I'm not mistaken, all cameras based on that particular CCD from Sony share those IR capabilities. Which means both the whole *istD-series, the K100D and many cameras from Nikon. For Nikon F aficionados, however, there are some Fuji cameras that trumphs all. Jostein 2009/8/12 gldnbearz : > I d

Plus I know how to use the old TTL flashes (AF280T and AF500T) with it. I've used it for shooting at a wedding. The K10D with available light and the *istDS with flash. Works just fine and I still enjoy the small size. Regards, Bob S. On Wed, Aug 12, 2009 at 12:33 PM, gldnbearz wrote: > I'm gl

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks of keeping the *istDS for reasons of size & nostalgia when going up to the next camera. I like the K200D for it's SR, weather sealing, and larger LCD, but the DS still has its "special" place. - Pat On Wed, Aug 12, 2009 at 4:43 AM, Bertil Holmberg wrote:

Well too late for reconsidering there. The K10D is long gone already. Currently I'm thinking that the the K20D ought to go for some other practical reasons. One is that the K-7 controls are different enough from the K20D to confuse me when in a hurry. Secondly they don't share batteries and charger
