Prompted by the recent thread on the Kiron 70-210/4 lens (titled
Kiron 70-210 f/4 macro 62mm filter), I dug out a review on the
lens, from Modern Photography for November, 1983.
Specifications: 70-210mm f/4 Kiron Accepts 62mm filters; f/4 to
f/22, 1/2 stop detents; min. foc. dist. 3 ft. 9
Hi there,
anybody uses this lens? How does it compare to SMC A 70-210 and VS1
70-210/3.5? Does a price of $75 sound fair for one in mint-/exc++ condition?
The reason I'm asking is it's much more compact than the VS1 I have, and it
looks as a nice 2nd walkaround lens.
Thanks in advance,
£ukasz

I've been offerd (by phone) a 70-210 Kiron in Pentax K mount. The filter
size seems to be 55mm.
The only reference on eBay is for the 62mm filter size model.
Any advise?
Jeff.
