Kodak is shutting down some or all of its Kodachrome processing capability in Switzerland, the only place in Europe where it's currently being done. Here's the catch: The headline says "Kodak announces end dates for Kodachrome motion picture film processing". Note MOTION PICTURE FILM PROCESSING. .

Don't get me wrong, I agree. I LOVE Kodachrome. And, although Kodak has heard from the masses by now how they'd like Kodak to produce it forever, it's just a loss leader for them (hence the albatross comment).
