One more 'Pentax Quirk' to add to the list.
I'm not bothered about the AF, although somebody using them to shorten
the min focus distance of a long lens might be. However, I'm surprised
we haven't seen some enterprising Chinese store on Ebay selling new
P/KA tubes. They could make a sm

I saw a set of these in one of the few local camera shops that still
carried a more or less traditional group of products. They wanted
$170.00 for them new in a box. I passed at the time but I wondered how
well they worked.

At long last, I can use my A 50mm 1.7 with tubes and PTTL flash instead of
manual flash and a lot of guess work for my macro setup.
