I believe Larry is on the right track here. I've never had the flow reset at all, so I looked up shortcuts on the web and saw the flow can be adjusted using the number pad, which I didn't know before. Is it possible that you are accidentally hitting a number key? I can see doing it if you are

I use the adjustment brush in LR6 frequently, especially to adjust the exposure of small areas of a photo. The problem is, it randomly resets itself to 20% “flow” (meaning I would have to go over an area 5 times to achieve the desired adjustment). When I set it to 100%, it remembers the setting
