Hi all
Does anyone have any experience with the feeble battery trays in LX
winders?
I have two [neither from new] and they are both coming apart at the outer
end.
I can probably fix them with epoxy, but as it is under continual internal
pressure [from the batteries] will probably go again.
I think
Ok Gang,
I took my LX with winder, 300 f/4 (non Pentax) and SMC 35-105 f/3.5
(wonderful Pentax lens) out to Brookfield Zoo last weekend. Winder worked
wonderfully at the dolphin show and everything . . . although I wish I had
brought the FB-1 and sportsfinder with instead of the standard
Boz's (www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/) site has information on the winder under
extras. I don't think
Pentax USA still supports repairs for that winder.

Hi Bill, I'll check with my repair guy tomorrow. Probably it is
the switch cover that has stripped, and not the switch itself.
