Whoever remembers the problem I've had with my scanner, which quit creating readable by PS TIFF files - I think it will be interesting to know... I have and use that scanner. I only use Vuescan software with it and have not noticed anything like you mentioned. You might try a download of Vuescan (www.hamrick.com) - trial software is free and see if it makes any difference. If you still see the same problem with that, I would guess you hav

Anyone familiar with the Minolta Scan Dual II? I have one (don't care for it much, so haven't used it much.) Anyway, I was using it recently and found that when I scan a strip of negatives the scans vary in density even though the negatives are the same. In all cases, the #1 image is very dark,
