Is the 645 that much more heavy than the 1Ds. Have you held that one? It´s big and it´s heavy. The reason for using MF lenses with a FF chip is the same as the reason for using FF lenses on APS size sensors. The sensors are more critical to lens errors, especially far from the centre. DagT
